From Harmony Hollow Software :Just like pulling names from a hat to determine a random order for a group of people, the Hat generates a random order from a list of any number of names. This can prove very handy for parents or teachers who need to assign a random order in which to allow any size group of kids to do anything such as play video games or use the computer.

Version: The Hat 1.5
"Harmony Hollow endorses Spyware/Adware/Trojans"
Pros: Reminds me of my youthful hacking days of long ago.
Cons: This company has been found to have included spyware in one or more of its products so far. McAfee detected 'ADWARE-XPLUS.URL' in application 'COOL TIMER' last night during a virus scan. I suspect this company writes dinky products as a way of creating installable backdoors - I'm back in high school again.

Pros: I am the developer of this product. At one time, I bundled my programs with SaveNow and other advertising products to make money since crackers and pirates were stealing my software. My site url became associated with those "spyware" products and was flagged by antivirus programs as being such. I have sinced ceased all dealings with afore mentioned companies but my url is still on the black lists of some antivirus programs. When my programs install, a shortcut to my site is installed in the Start menu group with the program icons. Antivirus programs see this and throw up the "spyware" flag. I assure all users that none of my programs any longer contain any form of spyware.

Pros: Very quick and simple. You can add any words you like (not just names) and also import/export word lists from text files. Even has some fun little effects. I used it to come up with business names and it did the trick.

"Easier than pulling out a rabbit from a Hat"
Summary: This is an excellent program. Very simple to use and very straightforward.

"Great for randomizing a list of anything!"
Summary: I have been looking for an electronic way to pull names from a hat because I'm tired of cutting up little pieces of paper. This is much more environmental friendly! I use it to randomize a list of team names to order a draft for my baseball game.
