Version: Text Locker 7.9
Pros: This program was very easy to use. Just enter text, click button, and boom you're done. I liked the fact that the same text codes into different code each time run, so for example if you entered "Dog" one time you might get "~Nr-g(~!h" but if you go back and do it again it might come out as "-/5-X7-&a". This eliminates the chance for guessing characters.

Version: Text Locker 7.9
"A simple and effective software... with a flaw..."
Pros: The concept is great. A simple computer hash to render your 'confidential' message unreadable. It works like this:
There is one basic type of coding the software uses. if you code your message once... it will code it. if you make it code again (without removing the previous code), it will code THAT CODE... making it harder to decipher. Im not sure how many times you can code it... i only went till 5. The obnly way to undecipher it is to paste the coded message into the same software (on a different computer as with emails...) and uncode it AS MANY TIMES as it has been coded.
So if you coded it 5 times... the recipitant has to uncode it 5 time to get the original message. Also... the recipitant has to have the software. It is advisable to decide with the recipitant how many time you shoyuld code and uncode it BEFORE using the software.
Cons: I'm not sure if this is a glitch:
I stated above that i hadnt coded it more than 5 times. That is because it froze if i tried it a sixth time. it could possibly be that it WAS coding... and in my impatience i switched it off... or it could be that it COULD not do it... with the resources my computer had (its pretty damn fast).
Another thing is that...
If by any chance the person you are trying to hide the mesage from finds the coded message, and knows what software you used.... It wouldnt be too hard to decipher it... through trial and error. so its not safe unless those peole are computer noobs.
