This game proves cutting the grass can be tougher than it looks. In Teenage Lawnmower, you must earn money to help your struggling mother by mowing lawns. However you're not only racing against the clock, you also must avoid obstacles such as squirrels, moles, and falling rocks. Even when you're on the easiest level, successfully mowing an entire lawn without destroying the mower or running out of time is a tricky affair. We thought the 3D graphics were outstanding, and the sound effects lend an air of realism. Controlling your lawn mower isn't too hard, but you can reconfigure the keyboard if you find a better layout. You also can alter the video quality and play in the full-screen mode, though the omission of a volume control is an interesting oversight. Nevertheless, we highly recommend this addictive game for its entertaining story line, colorful characters, and challenging play.
