From Tablane Technology:The Tablane browser offers tabs which can be displayed in positions around the main browser window, and lanes whereby an array of Web sites can be viewed within a single window. This makes multiple browser clutter a thing of the past. Another feature is the Collection, whereby groups of bookmarks or favorites are made extremely easy to manage and share, with the Collections saved in the RSS XML format. Tablane is not tied in to any search engine. Its multi-search feature allows several search engines to be used simultaneously, with results displayed in individual lanes, tabs, or windows. This is fully customizable, so specialist search engines can be incorporated. The browser is built over Internet Explorer libraries, with features not available in IE 7.0. Version 1.4.2 build 1007 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.
Note: Major IE plug-ins are now supported. Version expires 31st May 2006, by which time a new Tablane on-line service will also be available.
