From TIFNY :

TIFNY is a radical image browser for use with Usenet newsgroups. You no longer have to download Internet newsgroup images manually. TIFNY displays newsgroup images in real time, and allows you to scroll through them. All the images you have ever downloaded are available for viewing at the click of a button. It even provides a slide show of your favorites. Images can be flipped, rotated, enlarged, shrunk, turned to grayscale, saved, and deleted. There are over 100 special effects. Filter out unwanted pictures by author, series, organization, or size. You can even filter images that contain a keyword anywhere in the header. With the intuitive posting interface, even beginners can jump in and contribute images to newsgroups.
