  "Doesn't do the Job"

  Pros

  Very simple to use.

  Cons

  Doesn't do the job. On launch, it runs a scan and reports that there are no Symantec products to be removed, an incorrect report.

  Summary

  I have a copy of Norton Antivirus Scan on Mount (a Symantec product), running on my Mac, but I can't find it to trash it, no matter what I've tried. It slows down downloads and is years out of date, so it's useless for it's intended purpose of catching downloaded virus programs.
  
  I assume, since I'm unable to find it and Symantec builds a special program for just this purpose, that they have some sneaky method for secret installation of their products. I assumed that their product would solve this problem for me, but the Symantec Uninstaller could not find it...even though the rogue program scanned the uninstaller download. Doesn't do the job as intended. No stars.
