This program attempts to control Internet activity, although it is unreliable. SurfMonitor Mgmt Utility comes with its own predefined filters based on adult material and content. The program doesn't show the list and some questionable material still seeps through while surfing. You can add URLs to a blacklist for banning, However, if the site uses the World Wide Web as its Internet accessing medium you'll need to specify the site name with and without www to effectively halt it from loading. SurfMonitor Mgmt Utility claims to block messenger applications such as MSN, Yahoo, and AOL although we successfully launched and carried on conversations after disabling them. Last but not least, it sordidly requires you to visit the publisher's Web site to obtain an uninstall key. This 14-day trial program provides a substandard level of blocking, but users needing adept blocking mechanisms should continue shopping.
