We have to admit that we were excited about reviewing Supercow from the start, based on its name alone. It sounded like it would be fun and a little wacky, and we couldn't wait to play it. We're happy to report that Supercow met our expectations admirably. In this fun and exciting adventure game, Supercow must save the farm from the evil Professor Duriarti. With high-quality graphics and plenty of challenging tasks, Supercow is made for hours of fun.

The game is arranged in levels that Supercow must travel through, and in some ways we found it to be reminiscent of Super Mario Bros. and Sonic the Hedgehog. As Supercow moves through each level, she collects coins, jumps on bad guys to kill them (including snails that couldn't help but remind us of Mario's Koopa Troopas), and rides the occasional elevator. But the game has plenty of original elements, including Super Milk that replenishes Supercow's strength and secret treasures for Supercow to find. Between levels we see cartoon-style interaction between characters and read Supercow's diary entries, which are often amusing. For the most part the game's graphics are of very good quality, although they are occasionally inconsistent in style between different parts of the game. Built-in instructions provide details for gameplay, making it very easy to get started. Overall, we found Supercow to be fun and challenging, and we think it would be enjoyable for both kids and adults.

Supercow has a 60-minute trial period. It installs and uninstalls without issues. We recommend this program to all users.
