Editors' reviewThough this mighty but miniature download program helps speed downloads, its limitations prevent it from being the go-to tool for power downloaders. In our tests, Super Downloader accelerated downloads by 300 percent. That said, this impressive statistic doesn't overshadow a limited feature set and some pesky problems. Super Downloader can resume broken downloads, but it can't resume downloads once the program is closed. You can only download one program at a time, and the location in which most downloads are stored can't be changed in any way. The interface is basic and poorly designed. If you want to use Super Downloader while downloading via a browser, right-click to bring up the Context menu command and choose "Download with...". However, Super Downloader does not act as a default for every download. Overall, this application is useful for the occasional download, but big projects will require a far more robust program.
Super Downloader 12.0 makes your download four times faster, and you can resume broken downloads. Java Runtime Environment is needed. The program is completely free and has three modes: fast, faster, and fastest.
