CNET Editors' review
SugarSync Desktop offers a complete, but sufficiently compact desktop manager for viewing and arranging the multimedia files that will be stored online as part of the SugarSync service to be retrieved via the SugarSync client on a Mac, other Windows laptops, a BlackBerry or Windows Mobile phone, or from your personal Web address from any other Web-friendly device.
SugarSync gets high ratings for its ease of use, reliability, and above all, its speed. There are nice extra features, like the Magic Briefcase that house on all platforms and devices the content you drop into it, and a quick link to your personal Web site. A search field would not go amiss, especially if you're not certain of your file's location and haven't had the foresight to include your file into the briefcase. Despite that, this service makes mincemeat of many competitors in the remote access space for its ability to monitor multiple computers and platforms with little fuss.
Publisher's Description
From SugarSync:
SugarSync enables mobile consumers and professionals to backup, sync, access, and share all their files on-the-go, instantly, and securely from any Mac, PC, or mobile device (including iOS, Android, BlackBerry, Symbian, and Windows Mobile devices). SugarSync users can sync music, photos, movies, and other files in any folder and access and share those files via the cloud, providing a Cloud service that matches the way people currently organize their folders and manage their digital lives. SugarSync's file sharing and collaboration tools also allow users to share any folder or file with a simple URL via social networks, email, and instant messaging.
What's new in this version: Version 1.9.57 has resolved an issue that caused sync loops, which consumed an excessive amount of network bandwidth and CPU on some customers' computers.

"Dropbox is better!"
Version: SugarSync Manager 1.9.57
Pros
Multiple folder sync is a good feature; Email files to a folder another great feature. look and feel is great.
Cons
Customer Service sucks! Of course, I cannot expect free service replies when I'm just a 5 mber. But when I wrote to them about my problem they did not have any reply :(
SugarSync on my BB 9650 doesn't work. I uninstalled and reinstalled it but when I try to connect I only get the screen with the logo "SugarSync Mobile", the circling dots and the "connecting..." signs. When reinstalling I've given the app "trusted" status, however, I just can't log in. I've used in both wifi and direct connection modes. Nothing works. Rebooted several times.
I've used SugarSync on BB before but it suddenly stopped working now.
I have the latest version both on PC and mobile.Summary
Try it!

"Seems easy but doesn't work when you need it most"
Version: SugarSync Manager 1.9.57
Pros
easy to set up. works seamlessly
Cons
Missing folders & files mysteriously. Not much explanation than that. When it works it works, when you need it most you can open a computer that should of been backed up but find discover complete folders are missing and if they weren't backed up on my computers I would of been in big trouble. Not worth the time.
Summary
Nice interface but is not reliable to back up important data.
