StormPredator displays personal near real-time NEXRAD doppler radar images as well as watches and warnings for any USA location on your PC desktop on colorful 3D Topographic maps. SP3 Includes exclusive storm tracker and predictor tools, plus personal scan zone & distance measuring tools that helps you track storms, predict ETA, & plot storm paths. It's like having a personal weather radar on your PC to warn of approaching storms. E-mail & cell phone alerts can be sent when storms reach levels you set. SP3 will also send color radar images to cell phones and publish full color radar images to Web sites.
What's new in this version: Version 3.6 included where the user may select the maximum number of history images to download and display. The default (and maximum) is 24 and the minimum is 2 and the program's communications library has been updated to a newer version to allow authenticated proxy connections. The Display Options dialog now has a button that invokes a proxy configuration dialog that allows users to specify a user name and password for proxy server connections.

"One Of The Best Out There When It Comes To Radars"
Version: StormPredator 3.6
Pros
It's a lot that I like about this program. It's a must have for anyone whom is into the weather around them. I greatly like how the Radar Data is in "Near Real Time". For me this is very important. It seems to be very on point with the information it displays and I for one couldn't be more of a prouder owner. I'm still using version 3.5 so this is "Not" in ref to the 3.6 version. Another thing that amazes me about this program is how when you put the Radar in motion it don't work slow and sluggish like most programs of it's kind and the Beam is a added plus. It could use a bit more feature as the more being the merrier and it would also be very nice to be able to seen the main screen into "Full Screen" mode with and without the border and side panel.

Summary
I wanted to add earlier that this program goes perfect with Earth Alerts. I run both on my main Notebook PC and they work flawless and just as I need them to. There are a few things StormPredator could greatly use in side panels and that wind speed panel, Pressure penal and humidity panel and maybe even throw in a total rain gauge penal that you can turn on and off like all the rest of the panels that this program do have. I been wanting StormPredator every since I installed the trial version about three or more years ago and extremely happy to have both it and Earth Alerts working in my favor when it comes to monitoring the weather. It's a great feeling pulling up StormPredator and having a Weather Radar right at my finger tips without having to do anything more than just load the program. Looking forward in buying a Weather Station to go along with it and many years of uses.

"Eval version is NOT fully functional waste of time"

Hard to say as it was so stirpped down

This is NOT the 90's where's companies hamstring demo versions. over priced for what you get and you can't fully eval without paying If they were confident they had a good product they would not strip the eval.
Summary
Look elsewhere, 5, Weathertap or GRLEVELX all have superior and better priced product.
