Version: Stellar Phoenix iPod Recovery 1.1

"Not free to try!"

Pros: The user interface is appealing, the program recognized the damaged audio files on my ipod where other programs did not.

Cons: When attempting to copy/backup, or recover damaged files the program prompts for a registration key and will proceed no farther without a purchase. This is NOT "try before you buy" but an advertizing ploy to get you to purchase the product.

Summary: This download is very misleading. Don't download unless you plan from the start to purchase it. I would never purchase anything that I couldn't try (especially if it never worked - even on a single sample file).
