Version: Stellar Phoenix Linux 1.0
"The demo is worthless, sorry to say."
Pros: It seems easy to use, with a clean interface. If it does what it says I was not able to test as the demo did not allow me to test the most important functions!!!!!
Cons: Everybody who is in need, wants to try out if the program really does what it says. I was in desperate need for my files on a lost Ext3 partition. I saw the file names, but was not allowed to open one single file. Other programs out there actually lets you open the files you find, one by one so you can listen to a tune, see a picture, just to be sure the program really is able to do what is being claimed. Here you only can see the names. My review is for the 2.5 version, what I found out when I downloaded here was that the verion said to be 1.0 is actually 2.1, and that one only reads Ext2. To pay 89$ without even knowing that the program is working is too much.
