CNET Editors' review
One of the most annoying features of acquiring new software is the tendency of many programs to start up automatically with the computer, whether wanted or not. Particularly with unwanted adware, this can slow down computer work to a crawl. This utility helps identify exactly what's triggered at start-up, and can disable or delete programs that are unwanted. Perhaps most useful, it highlights potentially dangerous entries. In our tests, it spotted all the start-up keys we created by installing adware. The biggest drawback is Startup Select doesn't identify all start-up entries, and so users might have to search online to figure out whether some files can be deleted or not. However, with a simple, no-nonsense interface, the program can be quickly mastered even by rookie computer users. We'd recommend it to anyone seeking more control over their computer.Publisher's Description

"Good, but VERY limited trial. As a result, trial is a waste of time."
Version: Startup Select 2
Pros
Seems to work OK, but who can really tell when it only works to remove three programs on trial?!
Cons
They state it is a 10 day trial. That's true, but it only allows you to remove three programs from startup. THEY DONT TELL YOU THAT. HOW CAN YOU REALLY TEST IT?!
