This tiny start-up manager lacks compelling features, but at least it works fine and costs nothing. Simply put, this program allows you to disable which programs run when you boot up your PC. The tabbed interface offers sections for applications and Registry keys that launch on start-up, but since the program offers little information on the applications, it's not useful for identifying spyware or other potentially harmful programs. Nor will you find an uninstaller, a feature that's common in utilities of this ilk. All things considered, Startup Control Panel only will suit cash-strapped users with very simple needs.
Publisher's description
From Mike Lin :Startup Control Panel allows you to easily configure which programs run when your computer starts. It supports launching programs based on information in both the start-up menu and the Registry. It's designed to be a valuable tool for system administrators.
Version 2.8 may include unspecified updates, enhancements, or bug fixes.

Version: Startup Control Panel 2.8
Pros: Startup Control Panel has a very basic interface and has seven tabs on the interface. And you can disable startup programs that startup when windows starts up.
Cons: There is no uninstaller for Startup Control Panel because this utility does not show up in add or removes programs. Startup Optimizer is a better startup manager.

Version: Startup Control Panel 2.8
Pros: This little program works. If you need to unclutter your taskbar system tray, this does that easily and does it well. No, i am not the developer. Easy to use interface.
Cons: After installing, i could not find it.
Click 'start', 'control panel', 'switch to classic view', 'STARTUP'.
I recommend only unchecking the programs instead of deleting them.
If the software involved has been UNinstalled completely; then delete the startup entry.

Version: Startup Control Panel 2.8
Pros: Startup Control Panel is a simple, yet intuitive, tool allowing users to enable/disable individual programs in the various startup groups on their Windows machine. It even sports a "Recycle bin" in case you decide to resurrect an old startup that was accidentally deleted, a useful feature for us click-happy users. :)
Cons: Nothing, really, except the install binary saved on this site doesn't work. You will need to go to mlin.net to download the standalone executable.

"fantastic, one of the 3 most useful programs ever devised"
Pros: Let's you know what those pesky startups are, and let's you choose to let them fill your memory or not. A great way to speed up your internet experience. Extremely highly recommended.
Cons: None, absolutely none.
