Version: Startup Booster 2
"There is a System Restore in your future"
Pros: It didn't totally crash my OS.
Cons: No appreciable difference in startup or shutdown time. Cleared my most used programs from start menu and wouldn't add any afterwards. Start menu was way too fast. Disabled my InCD. May have other problems, but I didn't give it a chance to find out. I had to reverse the changes by doing a system restore. Likely disables other necessary features due to deleting ActiveX controls from the registry. Don't use this software unless the author gives you a chance from the program interface to create a restore point; otherwise, you may have to go back a few days in time to a previous restore point. Being a guinea pig for this kind of stuff is a dirty job, but somebody's got to do it.
