From Thumbs Up Soft:Startler is a full-featured clock utility for Windows CE palmtop devices. It features a travel alarm that includes twin alarms and a snooze button. Simply tap the snooze button for a few more minutes of shut-eye. To shut off the alarm, press the Action button on the side of the unit. When the palmtop is placed in the cradle, the AC power for backlighting helps the palmtop serve as a large-digit bedside clock. Startler also includes a sport stopwatch with 1/100-second precision, and lap times. Need to time that casserole in the oven? Startler can act as a handy kitchen timer. Set it for 10 minutes, shut the unit off, and Startler will soon remind you with a sound. Version 2.0 comes with two skins and four separate up/down timers.

"It can be worked around..."
Summary: I too faced the same problem as Dman, but quickly learned it could be avoided. To use your trial without having to go through the hoops of finding a "working" trial, simply get to the point where you can enter a registration code (the third step), then tap one of the butons from the program. Then use.
Overall, it seemed to me though that it isn't as good as they make it out to be. Go with Conduits Timekeeper if you need a stopwatch. -

"Wheres the trial?"
Summary: Downloaded and installed it. It came up and said the trial period was expired. Go to www.thumbupsoft.com to download new version. It also claimed my trial period had expired.
