Chefs, Caterers, Hotel Managers, Restaurateurs, in fact anyone involved in the development of recipes and specification of menus will benefit from the extensive functionality StarChef has to offer. StarChef offers you the easiest, most complete way to create menus, manage ingredients and specify dish recipes. StarChef allows you build a database of Ingredients with supplied quantities and cost prices. Dish Recipes are then created using the Ingredients stored within the database. StarChef accurately calculates the cost price for a Recipe based on the quantities used for each Ingredient. Unit conversion is performed where necessary, allowing you to use the unit measurement you prefer (Metric, UK Imperial or US).

"StarChef allows you to add one dish recipe to another (referred to as a sub dish) many levels deep. Menus contain a collection of dishes and menu courses. A menu can be created to represent a restaurant menu or it can be collated for analytical purposes only.
