This spyware scanner and removal tool does the job, but enabling some functions may cause slight slowdowns.
Spyware Terminator's crisp, clean interface uses simple buttons and tabs to operate and set options. The latest spyware signatures are automatically downloaded, and the real-time protection keeps baby-sitting to a minimum. Real-time protection monitors key spyware types and Windows objects, though slight system slowdowns depend on your machine. Those features and the simple scheduler will make this app appealing to novices.
Advanced users will appreciate Spyware Terminator's flexibility. Setting the sensitivity of various scans is as easy as moving a slider. Experienced users will want to enable the built-in antivirus tool, which extends the power of real-time analysis by comparing program code against a database of known viruses, Trojans, and worms.

Pros: good antispy protection
Cons: corrupted my ESET firewall kept having "unidentified network". made my other programs hang even after allowing them to continue.
Summary: too much hassle lost 2 days figuring out why i couldn't connect to home network.

Pros: It's free. That is why I gave it a star.
Cons: THIS SOFTWARE TOOK PART OF THE REGISTRY WITH IT WHEN I UNINSTALLED IT. I HAD TO RE- INSTALL THE OS ON MY COMPUTER..
Summary: If your board and have your OS on disc laying around have fun loading your system from the start to finish.. And you will need that CD with your drivers also...

Pros: I have no problem with what it does. It does it well... however...
Cons: ...it doesn't work well under a 64 bit system.
Summary: If the Terminator worked without limitation on 64 bit system, I would give it five stars.
