This spyware scanner and removal tool does the job, but enabling some functions may cause slight slowdowns and it's not ready for Vista.
Spyware Terminator's crisp, clean interface uses simple buttons and tabs to operate and set options. The latest spyware signatures are automatically downloaded, and the real-time protection keeps baby-sitting to a minimum. Real-time protection monitors key spyware types and Windows objects, though slight system slowdowns depend on your machine. Version: Spyware Terminator 1.6
Pros: I just uninstalled Trend Micro 2007 cuz it hogs my RAM and freezes when scanning. Anyway back to the topic, I installed Syware Terminator and it has a nice user interface. Novices don't have to worry about navigating cuz it's really easy to use. It scans quickly without freezing and doesnt slow down ur comp, take up disk space (it's 2.39mb worth to download!)or hog ur RAM. It also tells u how high the threat is for each cookie/spyware. It comes with an optional integrated anti-virus if u need it. It comes with real-time protection. All for free. No screens popping up telling u to upgrade or whatsoever. I highly recommend this free product and use this with Ad-Aware Personal. =)
Cons: So far..I cant find any..

"Nice Free Antispyware Application"
Pros: one of the few free antispyware that offer real time protection as well as HIP((home intrusion prevention)) it updates a good ammount and is fairly quick and throughout scanner
Cons: like all applications it has some conflicts with other applications. common sense tho ppl would tell u if u have an antivirus already going to NOT install clam win as its an AV program

Version: Spyware Terminator 1.6
Pros: Overall the program is good,it does find some spyware and more important it has a real-time protection which alerts you evertime a program is modified.
And the program is not heavy on resources.
Cons: The program did not recognise all spyware (done a test right after it with Ad-Aware and it detected a trojan).
Also it kind of ruined itself and asked me to reinstall but this has happend because i had to do a system restore.
