Version: Spyware Cleaner 2008 2.0602
Cons: After doing a search on download.com, I came across this program.Seemed suspicious to me. It told me I had a trojan(which I don't), so I ran ad aware 2008, and a few other reputable programs, and came up clean. There's lots of false antispyware program on the net, and as the saying goes, If it looks like a duck, sounds like a duck, and acts like a duck, then bingo, it's a duck.

"DON'T EVEN BOTHER-USELESS!!!!!"
Cons: Download and scan IS free...but must purchase product to remove infections. Also scan classified necessary aps as trojan infections. Product is useless.

Pros: The Soft Sell. Refers to Softpedia but you will not find it there. Very convincing. Try accessing the Forums or anything else on this site, you just get the buy me screen.
Cons: It does not do what it claims, even after you have paid for it. It leaves you wide open to infection, and may be even invites it. Windows OS reported unrecognised file changes when attempting to remove spyware using it.
Summary: After buying, installing, and using on a number of occassions, my system became almost unuseable due to spyware infections. It claims SOFTPEDIA recognition, but I can find no trace of it on that site. (I have notified them) Trusted software such as ... read more >>
