Kolla :While viruses for Symbian and Windows Mobile currently seem more like proof-of-concept studies, the Windows Mobile platform offers malware writers who already know Windows a very similar environment. Some may call it a hype, but that's what people said about spyware 5 years ago as well, and our opinion is that it's better to protect yourself before something happens than to do it afterwards.
Spybot-S&D for Windows Mobile uses a lightweight version of the detection engine of Spybot-S&D for Windows to detect threats for Windows Mobile and Symbian both, the later because Bluetooth worms could spread over OS borders, and while they would not perform on an incompatible OS, they would still waste precious space on the device.

Version: Spybot - Search & Destroy for Pocket PCs 0.3
"No spies found, but this S&D 4 PPC runs flawlessly"
Pros: Being a fan of S&D (Win) for ages, I could not wait to run this tool on my iPAQ 4350 with 4GB SD card. It installs and runs flawlessly.
Interface is clean and easy to use although unlike S&D Win version.
Cons: It ran for 10:03 mins without finding issues in 2812 files/279 folders. So I cannot for sure tell whether it is an effective tool (I trust it to be)

Version: Spybot - Search & Destroy for Pocket PCs 0.3
Cons: It downloads as 4 cab files which do absolutely nothing, even once extracted - no exe file, no instructions, ziltch. A waste of my time. I've rated it with 1 * because this board has forced me to, but really it deserves a big fat 0 *.
