Although its scanning engine could certainly use some work, this antispyware app has an effective real-time shield and a fine set of features. It's convenient that SpyWall Anti-Spyware integrates directly into Internet Explorer, but some users might wish for an option to disable the toolbar during the installation process. As a real-time shield, SpyWall Anti-Spyware was almost too reliable at times. Though it prevented almost all malware and Browser Helper Objects from sneaking onto our test PC, it often blocked harmless sites. You may need to spend a bit of time configuring the application to allow certain URLs you frequently visit. We did find a number of helpful perks underneath the hood, including a scheduler, automatic definitions updates, logging, and a start-up manager. Unfortunately, the spyware scanner was a bit more disappointing, as it left behind a number of adware components we installed for testing purposes. The one-week trial period also is shorter than we ideally like to see. Savvier users might find this utility useful for its real-time protection and other extras, so long as they don't rely on it as their sole antimalware solution.Publisher's description

"do not surf web without spywall"
Pros: After using it for two months I can say that my fifteen bucks were well spent. Spyware infections I used to get are now history. SpyWALL keeps me safe from attacks and shows me the where the attacks are coming from.

Pros: removed spy sheriff for me that my paid for anti-virus, ad-aware, and pestpatrol could not remove.
Cons: does not clean without paying.

"Very good in removing spyware"
Pros: My pc got infected with spyware that was really difficult to clean up. I tried several products and they all failed. I was told that I had to rebuild the PC. With SPYWall I found the spyware and cleaned it up. I am very happy.
Cons: Took more effort to purchase it then to use it.

"Removed winantivirus2006 for me!!"
Pros: SpyWALL is awesome! It removed winantivirus2006 from my PC. What that spyware my PC was unusable and spyWALL has reclaimed my PC from those jerks. Thank you! If you have been infected by winantivirus2006, I strongly recommend using SpyWALL.
Cons: None at all.

Pros: I purchased SPYWALL to remove spysheriff from my PC. Using SPYWALL I found it and removed it. I am very pleased. After using SPYWALL for a while, I like it even more now as I see how many attacks it has blocked and prevented my PC from getting infected. IMO SPYWALL is the simplest anti-spyware product and a must have for safe surfing on the Internet.
Cons: I took away one star because of two reasons. Purchasing the product was not easy and one time SPYWALL blocked a file that I was trying to download, but did not notify me.
