CNET Editors' review
In the age of spyware, worms, and other malware, a good computer security tool is a must. This download promises to preserve users from nasties such as phishing, spyware and Web bugs, but we found its features--as well as the actual protection offered--to be regrettably limited.
The program allows users to add to a list of Web hosts that should be blocked from accessing a computer, but offers no automatic update feature. When we purposely installed adware on our machine, the program allowed most of it to run without question.
The program didn't even stop the pop-ups produced by these pests. We'd recommend that users who are serious about protecting their computer from both nuisances and real dangers look for a stronger piece of software.
