This utility handles basic privacy-protection and cleaning chores but lacks the advanced features found in many competing products. Spring Clean's interface is a mixed bag. While its layout is intuitive and self-explanatory, it's also drab and doesn't fully expand when the main window is maximized. The left pane lets you select a category, while the right pane lets you select individual items you want to remove. Spring Clean can get rid of all aspects of your Web-surfing history, but it only works with Internet Explorer. It also cleans up space-hogging TMP files and tidies Windows system areas such as the Recent Documents list, the Recycle Bin, the My Picture folder, and the Start menu history. However, unlike more powerful apps in this class, this one can't delete tracks from third-party apps like media players and IM clients. Nor can it shred files or schedule global cleaning sessions. In the end, Spring Clean best suits novice users who aren't comfortable manually performing basic PC-cleaning sessions.Publisher's description
From Ion-I :Spring Clean allows users to access more than 20 areas of their system and purge unwanted files and tracks. With most sections having the ability to select what stays and what goes, Spring Clean will ensure that the only files and tracks that get removed are the ones you specify.
