"Adds shortcuts TO desktop, READ THE LICENSE AGRREMENT!!"
Cons: It adds 2 shortcuts on your desktop and changes your default search engine. How many people read the license agreements? Well these people assume you won't read it, and take liberties. READ IT, it's short, it says ".....as an added thank you, we will update your search to the best in google searches and provide you with search defender absoutely free. Plus we will allow you to try PC Checkup and provide desktop icons".
To those users who say "It does what it says", you are correct, it does what it says. "Allow you seems to indicate you have a choice, but you DO NOT.

"There are some bad raps out there, this is one utility I can't do without!"
Pros: Helped my frequent recurring problem with low available memory. It's a light non-burdensome software that quickly boosts RAM memory dramatically. PC works smoother as a result.
Cons: At first I didn't like the adware but then I realized that it's a one-time offer to the user to have access to some other possibly useful software. As for PC Checkup, it's kind of insistent that you try it, but I think it's a terrific tool for fixing registry errors as well as cleaning up various tracks. Like I stated, I can't live without it!

Pros: This software claims to trim your CPU performance, and it works. Not that you nessesarily will notice any difference, but it truly does!
Cons: It simply doesn't feel right! Somethings is very wrong!
First, the software also link to/install another software called "PC-Checkup", which is a tool for registry-cleaning (so it claims). This software sucks! First is only lists a fragment of errors on your registry (200 compared to 1.750 real errors).
Secondly it doesn't back up you registry before - so you can't revert if the process goes wrong.
Thirdly. OK, you have removed invalid entries, but so what if you cannot compress the registry. It doesn't do that.
Beyond all this, SpyBot finds attempts to contact their homeserver.
All together, there are better tools here.

Cons: It reported it saved 400K of RAM and my computer is slow as malasses....
Still trying to recover from the mess !!!!!!!
