From Mathematically Beautiful Screen Savers :Special Effects uses pixel animation to create the following 3D displays in real time: fireworks, star fields, B-spline warp, B-splinesparklers, and gravity wells. Many user preferences can be specified tocustomize the results, such as numbers of firework shells, burst configuration, sparks per shell, spark persistence, gravity, atmospheric damping, color combinations, and the viewing focal length. Preferences can be saved as templates for easy restoration and sharing among Special Effects users. Online help is available for all fields on the Preferences dialog. You can also use the application as your Windows screensaver. This release includes new Fireworks Burst configurations and improved Gravity Well performance.
