From JAM Software GmbH :SpaceObServer is a hard disk space manager. A background service scans directories and stores collected information in an SQL database. A Unicode enabled user interface reports space usage, wasted space, compression rate and more in tabular views, 3D bar, pie and line chars. Tracks the development of the space usage in database. Shown information can be exported and printed. Highly customizable file search included. Version 2.02 (2.0.2.181) Features: The database servers Oracle 9/10 and MS SQL Server 2005 are now supported. There is no need to rescan local NTFS drives any more. For a scanned drive the - Use NTFS Change Journal option can be activated. Now able to detect NTFS Alternate Data Streams (ADS). A new form has been created for managing the scans. File Search: You can now additionally filter files by the attributes; A right click menu has been added that allows checking or unchecking all items in a list. MS Access: A new Access database file can now be created on demand.

"Loads of info at your fingertips, great app!"
Pros: Detailed drill-down statistics on how your drive space is being used, great charts and graphs. Outstanding app!
Cons: Kind of slow to scan but that should probably be expected considering the depth of the scan.
