Publisher's description of SpaceMonger
From Sean Werkema:SpaceMonger is a tool for keeping track of the free space on your computer. Each file or folder on a given drive is displayed in a box in the main window whose size is a relative comparison to all the other files in your system. So, for example, if the "Windows" box takes up 90% of the screen, the "C:\Windows" folder and all its sub-folders and files are taking up 90% of your "C:" drive.

SpaceMonger is a simple-to-use, dandy little tool that quickly shows you how files and folders are using your memory. Its initial interface is primarily blank, with a few buttons at the top. Click the Open button to select which drive's memory should be checked.
Instead of creating a pie chart or similar type of graph, SpaceMonger maps your system's memory use according to the sizes of files and folders. The size of a box--which can represent a folder or file--quickly lets you know generally how much larger or smaller it is compared to the surrounding boxes. Clicking on a box provides details--actual file sizes and names--and a pop-up menu allows you to delete directly from the SpaceMonger map.
We certainly recommend this small but powerful program to users of all levels looking for an easy, handy addition to their file management toolkit.

"Wow, is this the coolest thing!"
Pros: Thanks, Sean, this is way cool. It is the perfect tool for macro-managing disk space. Your design for the visual display is excellent. Use of colors, borders, etc so very well designed. Easy to understand the relationships at a glance.
Saw two big chunks, could tell by the file name they were backups, mouse-over showed me the date and time, one right-click and one left, and the older one was deleted. And instant update of the display. Very, very cool.
Note to users: as he says in the readme file, deleting is powerful and could be dangerous, be careful with that. You will love this if you are concerned about disk space.
Cons: none.

Version: SpaceMonger 1.4
Pros: Long story short, I mysteriously lost 4 gigs over the span of one day. Turns out that a certain game setup that I downloaded copied itself in four different places.. 3 of which I've never checked until now.. with this software.
This program will remind you of all the useless crap that rots in the bowels of your hard drive.
Cons: None!

Pros: Accurately shows every byte on your PC, even hidden or system files. Colorful and easy to look at and understand.
Cons: Crashed when i deleted a 2 gig file but works fine on smaller size deletions.
