Tired of your keyboard's boring old clackety-clack? Sounding Keyboard & Mouse plays sounds with each mouse click or keystroke you make. The functional interface lets you choose from five sound schemes, which you can edit or delete. You can create new schemes and use your own MIDI or WAV files. If you've installed Microsoft's Speech API and TTS Engine, you also can have the program enunciate typed letters, words, or sentences. Unfortunately, we found the speech engine reminiscent of early computer-generated vocals, which offer no warmth or intonation and can be quite hard to understand. The trial lasts a disappointing 15 days or 20 uses and runs for only 30 minutes at a time. Even 10 minutes might drive some people mad, but if a constant serenade of sound effects is your sort of thing, Sounding Keyboard & Mouse is a suitable, if not stellar, tool for generating it.

Sounding Keyboard and Mouse lets you hear magic sound when you press keys or click mouse. The program allows you to hear the sound or the words, which you want to hear after your typing or clicking. If the Microsoft Speech API and TTS Engine have been installed on your computer, the program can vocalize the text you are typing at the completion of each character or each word or each sentence. You can set MIDI note or wave file to every key on your keyboard. Version 3.3 adds Windows Vista support.
