Professional designers looking for a way to show off their models may find this program useful indeed. Solid Converter translates AutoCAD drawings in DWG, DXF, and DXB formats into ordinary PDF documents that can be opened and viewed by virtually anyone. Although limited in its scope, it does provide an appealing set of features, allowing users a wide degree of control over which portions of their models and layouts will be converted. The PDF documents created can be encrypted, and permission restrictions can be set for printing, copying, or changing the final products. A handful of other output formats are also supported. In our tests, the program performed quickly and produced high-quality output. If you're a designer who often needs to translate your DWG or DXF files into PDFs, this program could be a must-have.
