You can switch the left and right mouse functions quickly with SoftCollection Lefthander, though occasional glitches detract from its overall performance. An icon in the system tray displays an L or an R to designate which of the two options is currently in use. Simply hold down the Ctrl key and click the icon to switch back and forth. Changes are immediate and accurate. Unfortunately, in testing, we had problems reopening the application. Though the icon wasn't visible after we exited wethe program, a message appeared when we tried to relaunch the program, indicating it was already open. SoftCollection Lefthander had to be closed using Windows' Task Manager and then reopened before it could be used again. Any user willing to put up with this annoyance should check out this 21-day trial for a way to quickly adapt the mouse for a right- or left-handed user.Publisher's Description
