With the proliferation of digital cameras and smartphones, even non-photographers have started taking and editing digital photos. However, traditional image-editing software may seem too complicated for beginners. This is where Snapheal for Mac may comes in handy. It offers to take the complexity away and achieves decent photo correction.
Snapheal for Mac offers a clean, user-friendly interface and is easy to use. The main functionality is the ability to erase entire objects or small imperfections. Typically, you can get rid of pesky skin spots on portraits or erase unwanted passers-by. There are three basic erase modes with some additional settings to help you achieve the best results. Options for tweaking all the classic photographic properties such as contrast, exposure, saturation, and more are present as well. Amateur photographers will appreciate an interface that is clear and not cluttered with too many elements. Even for a total beginner it will be really easy to discover this program and quickly get things done. Our results were generally correct but not perfect. The app is multicore/multithread capable so it can take advantage of a newer computer. For no apparent reason, multithreading wasn't actually kicking in every time. When your computer is busy processing, there is a random fun fact displayed alongside the progress bar to entertain you while you wait. Nice touch.
Neophyte photographers with basic needs will be able to rapidly achieve correct results with the easy-to-use Snapheal for Mac. With a 15-day fully unlocked demo there is no risk in trying it. Advanced users will probably prefer to stick with traditional feature-rich editing software that will provide better results and more options.

Pros
Unfortunately my camera is not the best one, but with Snapheal I can improve all photos. I enjoy using Erase, I thought it wouldn't be so easy!

For me it's much better than other photo editing apps I used. Now I can make my favorite photos look so bright and so amazing :) Erase works like a charm.

"about one photo shoot"

Pros
I bought the app and used to remove the objects. I didn't believe that the photos could be retouched so easily. I've beeing shooting my dog in the yard. The problem is there is much stuff on the background. Well guess what, Snapheal was able to remove it and I got gorgeous pics of my dog.

I haven't found them yet.

Pros
I've just come back from the journey. I've made a lot of photos and was happy to find snapheal. It's a great removal app. I got rid of many annoying tourists on my landscapes with the help of it. I also like a lot the adjustment toolset here.
Cons
To erase big areas or apply clone&stamp tool with bid diameter you will need to wait a litle bit longer than when you're working with small objects

I'm pretty happy with the resluts. Though, frankly speaking I didn't expect such quality from a $10 app :)

"Great value and works fine"

Pros
The app works fine on Macbook Pro (Lion) and iMac (Mountain Lion). I crop lots of scans of old documents to straighten them up and get rid of the black borders and the crop control is great - much easier and quicker than PS. No problem so far.
Cons
The option for a watermark would complete this program

This app is amazing. I use it all the time. But rarly to take out objects but to edit the contrast and ect. but thanks to the new version I can do witch spots I would like to !
Cons
One thing to make this app even better is a tilt-shift or a blur tool, if you can add that option this would be the best photography app in my opinion.

"Perfect for quick quality touch ups"

Pros
I love the simplicity and toolset, basically the app has everything aspiring photographer needs, but unlike in other apps you don't overpay for either name or amount of tools. Erasing algorithm work great in 90% of cases, adjust and retouch tools are just as they should be. In a word, this is a really great tool to fix images and perform complex edits. Highly recommended to those who keeps his pics in iPhoto and wants to go beyond basic photo editing.

As I said, erasing works in 90% of cases. Still needs some improvements.

Great and simple tool for almost everyone. Goes beyond basic iPhoto tools and offers much more than most of other photo apps. Has a set of features any descent photographer would need. Snapheal is especially great to help you get rid of extra objects, or fixing scratches. Almost PhotoShop quality when comes to fixing skin spots and cloning. 5 out of 5 stars from me.
