From FireBird Software :Smart Eye is an application which detects motion using a new algorithm which is resistant to noise, and to 'background motion' such as grass blowing in the wind. Upon detection of motion, it can save snapshots and video clips to your drive, and send snapshots to remote storage. It can activate an arbitrary Applescript, or a full blown application. It can handle up to 4 cameras, switching automatically between them. It's current 'view' may be accessed over IP as well. Demo available. Note: SmartEye will work with USB cameras but, USB cameras are slow. A digitizer card or a FireWire camera is highly recommended.
What's new in this version:
Adds remote access and program control over the video digitizer brightness and contrast, allowing Smart Eye to maintain a consistently useful 'snapshot' throughout the day, and well into the evening.
