"Locks up my system"

It's free - that's about it.
Cons
After half an hour it still hadn't completed the system scan. And this is on a five month old LAPTOP - it's not like it's ancient and using legacy hardware. I haven't installed a bunch of cards in expansion slots (since there are none) nor have I installed additional hardware (since there isn't a lot of room for it).
Summary
I'm grateful I've installed Program Explorer as my default Task Manager. It actually kills a program when you tell it to.

Really works, checked my drivers manually to make sure it wasn't some sort of scam program. On install, click Custom and disable the toolbar and other additional software if you don't want it installed. My computer no longer crashes and freezes! At first I thought it would take forever to update each one, but a lot of them were sub drivers, and so I updated everything within 30 minutes. First review I have ever taken the time to write, that is saying something!

Can't update all at once, although I think the upgrade version allows this.

I'd look elsewhere for driver updates. I tried to install the 2.2.18283 both from here and the product website, but got an error: "avgAF5.tmp.exe has encountered a problem."
