CNET Editors' review
There aren't that many Internet browsers. It was interesting to come across one that isn't as well-known or as well-advertised as the others: SlimBrowser. We can't say much about the security of this browser, since time will only tell, but it has some interesting features.
You can save all open sites as a Group, for example, which is a very convenient feature for anyone that has to regularly open the same sites simultaneously for work. There is also a Language tab, which connects you to Google in order to translate a page. It's not perfect, obviously, but it was nice to see a way to easily access such a feature. In File you can also view recently closed sites, which is nice for when you accidentally close the wrong page. You can change the skin of the browser, but most of the skins aren't aesthetically pleasing. It has a lot of the other, familiar features of other browsers so you wouldn't be missing out on those if you choose to give this a try.
Downloading this Web browser was easy. The installation was quick and easy as well. You can set up SlimBrowser to be your default browser during the installation process if you want to, but it's not required.

"Used For A Couple Of Months Now"
Version: SlimBrowser 7.0.032
Pros
Fast, good password manager, ad block with several lists to choose from, built-in pop up blocker.
Cons
Too many flash player crashes, and lately when it crashes, it knocks off the Internet connection resulting in having to turn off the modem and reboot the computer. Doesn't play well with MLB broadcasts at all. Spell check does not check whilst typing - you have to bring up a context page and check word-for-word to correct errors. I wouldn't use SlimBrowser to download anything as it does not port over IE's Smart Screen Filter for protection against malicious downloads.
Summary
Needs the flash player crashes fixed, but has been such a headache I won't try it again.

"What is not to like?"
Version: SlimBrowser 7.0.032
Pros
It leaves Explorer in the dust. IE always "stops working" almost immediately. Does IE have a downloader? Does it organize favorites automatically as it should? Does it handle passwords that aren't exposed?I'm sending them a note to add something so they are way ahead of the pack. IE is antiquated at least on every machine I have used. These people actually work on improving. The programmers at MS are awful and they know it. Why do you think the "Castle Industry" is so huge? Anyone try 8 yet. I'm staying at 7 after 10 minutes there. Something is wrong there and we'd see a lot of people, mags etc. get flushed out if they go. It would open up some competition. They have "Legal Muscle". Anyone read the transcripts of he Anti-Trust suit with Netscape. The extensions ended 2012, but they are an insult in court. Remember IBM?
Cons
They don't do everything, yet.
Summary
I have tried a few dozen browsers and it's the only one I can use so far. I'll keep checking.

"Best intelligent choice"
Version: SlimBrowser 7.0.022
Pros
I have found that SlimBrowser is one of the very best (if not THE best) browser on the Internet today! It is fast and easy to use. I can even use my RoboForm with it and I can't be without my RoboForm! This browser is easy to customize and make it the way you want it. By all means Get It, you will be happy with it.
Cons
I have found absolutely nothing that I could call a Con.

"Shell Works With IE10"
Version: SlimBrowser 7.0.021
Pros
Faster than IE10, much to my suprise. Built-in AdBlock has EasyList, NZ Fanboy list and works as advertised, excellent pop-up blocker included with SlimBrowser. 12 thread downloader is much faster than ANY other browser. YouTube video downloader. Integrate with Ttwitter, Google Plus, Blogger, Wordpress, Gmail, Hotmail, StumbleUpon, etc. Automatic form filler/password manager. Save and open a number of sites together as a group with a single click in the web browser. Spell check. GPU hardware acceleration - I think it has to be enabled by user under the options in menu.
Cons
Not sure if IE's Smart Screen Filter ports into Slimbrowser for download protection - I use IE10 for downloading new programs.
Interface is outdated unless you shrink it to Compact Mode - passable then.Summary
Surprise - it's better and easier to use than IE10.

"Could Not Integrate With My A/V Program"
Version: SlimBrowser 6.01.101
Pros
Unknown...could not use.
Cons
When I tried to install Slim Browser in my system, my Anti-Virus program, F-Secure, made it pretty clear that it's not compatible with this browser and would not integrate (i.e: provide web protection, scan downloads, etc.) with it. So, out it went.
Summary
Since Slim Browser is essentially an I.E. clone (I've used it in the past and it's not bad - certainly more "fun" than I.E.), I thought it might work in my present system but it was not to be. F-Secure is particularly fussy about the browsers it works with (it barely tolerates Chrome), and I'm not about to chance running an unprotected browser. I can say from past experience, however, that it's a fairly decent browser and you might like it a lot - just don't try running it if you're using F-Secure.

"Does what I ask of it"
Version: SlimBrowser 6.01.101
Pros

Summary
