Version: Skype for Windows Mobile 2.2
"good idea, but not very usable"
Pros: Idea seems ok - calling from PDA with wifi enabled. They also provie cabs for installation, which is very nice. :) I also liked design, its more easy to use as comparing to earlier version.
Cons: It takes a long time to log in, even if you have not asked you will get Skype logo and greeting on your Today top (its easy to remove), sound quality is not very good and you might scare people (like from Russian space station?).
Many PDAs actually could not run this version, which is also disadvantage.

Version: Skype for Windows Mobile 2.2
"great idea... not perfect yet!"
Pros: I love the idea of being able to call my girlfriends to chat via the PC conference call functionality and basically not pay a penny for long distance calls (except for my internet connection of course). Therefore, i tried out the cell phone version of skype.
In short, it is easy to use (maybe for me since I use the PC version a lot), but sometimes the quality of the call was not great and the fact that I have do move around on the phone makes it a bit more cumbersome.
But over all, it is definately worth it., what do you have to loose.
Cons: As for negatives, what people should be aware about is that these arent just "free" calls. The connection is made via your data transfer part of your contract. So if you have unlimited then it is ok, but if you pay per data transfer, it might add up. Honestly, i have not received my bill to know how much data I have used up using Skype on my cell phone, but i have been careful not to use it too much.
Anyway, this is more of a heads up than a negative.

Version: Skype for Windows Mobile 2.2
"Doesn't support Edge or GPRs"
Pros: It's a brilliant idea.
Cons: It lacks support for Edge or GPRS, connects only via Wi-Fi or 3G. Although voice calls are possible at 33 Kbps, but this dimension has been ignored by the developers.
Summary: Good piece of Software, if you have a perfect 3G connection from your network service provider as well as your phone/converged device doesn't have issues with 3G networking. Otherwise useless!
