Skype users will get some additional functionality with this freebie plug-in. The Skype Toolbar for Internet Explorer simply adds a search box and a couple of pull-down menus. The Help file is so simple it consists of four screens and less than 50 words, but that's all you'll need to use this tool.

Type what you hope to find in the search box. Click a button and see the results of your search. For each phone number returned in the searches, you'll see a small button. Click it and call the number using Skype. It's that simple. You can choose to search with Google or Yahoo through a simple pull-down. A final pull-down function opens your Skype Contacts list. As the title of this freeware notes, it only works with Internet Explorer.

Of course, Skype must be loaded on your system to use this toolbar. Fans of IE and Skype should give this freeware a test.
