It will display sunrise/sunset, twilight and lunar phase, and visibility at a glance, and also includes a Planisphere, Planet Finder, and Planet Round-up display. Pros: Thought this would be helpful.
Cons: Doesn't cover many areas. Figures Chicago, one of the United States' major cities, isn't even listed!!!

Pros: Easy to find lunar phases and planets for any day. Names of stars.

"Intersting but nothing of great value to amature astronomers"
Pros: Seeing the inner and outer solar system was a plus
Cons: Rather cumbersome with little help options. Visual layout not clear.

"A very useful little Java App."
Pros: Wonderfully detailed information. Easy to use interface. Reasonably intuitive maps in all the applets. Good, web-based, help file. Some very cool features, e.g., try moving your mouse across the main menu while the planet finder applet is open.
To those with installation problems, do you have JAVA properly installed? Requirements should indicate this.
Cons: No print function -- that's about it!
