Wireless Network USB Adapter 100M can establish a connection with any 2,4 GHz compatible wireless network. The USB adapter is plugged into a PC or notebook having a free USB port (1.1 or 2.0). Because this high-speed USB 2.0 Adapter is also downwards compatible with the existing 802.11b/g standard (11/54 Mbps), an optimal communication with this standard is guaranteed. The new 802.11g+ high-speed wireless LAN standard enables a transfer speed up to 100 Mbps thanks to the improved mode. The Wireless Network USB adapter can communicate directly with another wireless network card (both 802.11b and 802.11g) in an ad hoc network or it is hooked into a wireless network featuring an access point. If in a wireless network use is made of several access points, this Wireless Network USB adapter automatically chooses the strongest signal (roaming).
