Though narrowly focused, this browsing companion furnishes globe-trotters with a convenient way to book travel. Our main gripe was with SideStep's nontraditional interface, which hogs almost one-third of your screen space. Since it can't be resized to function as a normal toolbar, we eventually found its presence intrusive when we were surfing other sites. The toolbar consists of sections for locating flights, hotels, and cars. You'll find fields for entering all standard flight information, such as number of travelers, dates, preferred airports, and travel times. SideStep Toolbar returns results from other nearby airports and lets you sort by price, number of stops, departure, and return. The tabs for hotels and cars likewise are straightforward, letting you specify all necessary information. Despite its somewhat invasive presence, this piece of freeware will be a boon to many frequent fliers.Publisher's description

The free service selects the Web's best travel deals from online agencies, consolidators, and travel suppliers. SideStep makes it easy for consumers to comparison shop, displaying options side-by-side with those from sites such as Travelocity and Expedia. The search engine brings travel buyers directly to partners' sites to book travel, taking them to within a few clicks of purchasing from brands they trust. SideStep also gives travelers the opportunity to receive valuable special offers, such as bonus miles.

"The SideStep toolbar has been discontinued."
Pros: This was a great toolbar. I used to use it all the time, but then one day I got this message:
The SideStep toolbar has been discontinued.
Help me remove the toolbar.Cons: There were no cons that i could think of.
Summary: I hope they would reconsider and provide this toolbar again!!!
