This tiny, free utility provides you with basic information about your PC's performance, although we have a few design quibbles. Si Meter's interface features minuscule windows displaying PC information such as CPU usage, network traffic, hard-drive space, and running processes. Though the application's design does look rather polished, it can't be resized to a larger view, so some users may find it tough to read the data. This skinnable program can be set to run always on top, but it can't be minimized to the system tray. You can choose to remove any meter or change its order, and you can set the window's transparency level. Although this program doesn't have a wide range of powers, folks who need a quick way to measure their PC's performance may find it worth their time.Publisher's description
From IP Monster :If you're a geek who really likes to know what's going on behind the scenes of your computer, you're going to love Si Meter, a simple, real-time system-resources monitor. Keep track of things like CPU activity, network activity and speed, hard-drive activity, hard-drive space, system memory, running processes, or just date and time. It's easy to use and set up--simply select the type of meters you would like to monitor, and they pop up on the screen. You can drag and drop them, stack them, or skin them.

Version: Si Meter 2.0
Pros: This neat little tool gives you all the info you need to monitor your PC.It monitors your system in real-time and boasts a plethora of options including hard drive activity and HDD space, available memory and usage,just to name a few.I mainly use it to monitor my cpu activity.I like it and will use it on all my PC's
Cons: Meter windows are very small and hard to read. They are not sizeable. I have to use my reading glasses to see the digital readouts however the bar graphs are easy to see and understand.

"COOL, but CLOCK TICKING AWAY, wish I could resize and purchase"
Pros: Great display, love the transparency feature, and the auto hide. WISH I COULD REGISTER. Would give it a higher rating but not being able to register it is a major flaw? If a newer version came out and included the option of resizing it I would even pay another $5
Cons: Only program con. Is that it can not be resized. I run on a very high screen area pixels display, so I can do photo work with very large photos. When on high pixels display I can barely see the wording, unreadable at high screen area pixels displays, but excellent at regular sizes. Major Flaw: Can not register?and I WANT TO REGISTER.

"A nice little gadget, for free"
Pros: I like that it can be made transparent, and that one can customize what information is shown and in what order.
Cons: I wish it would run only in the system tray and not appear as an active app when one ALT+TABs.

"Downloads&Installs fine but low definition"
Pros: Right. This one does download and install just fine as I expected. And the functionality appeared to do what was advertised;
Cons: However, on my notebook, 15.4," 1200X800 screen, the resultant size just was not adequate. I could see the multi-thread processors graffs were doing something just as the rest of the graffs but I want better definition with something smaller than the MS task mgr.
