"OK, but not really useful as is."
Version: ShareAlarm 1.9
Pros
Easy to install (no install necessary), and worked right off the bat.
Cons
The list of people accessing your shares does not persist. That is, once they disconnect the record is gone. I wanted to be able to maintain a record so I can review it later. The way it is you have to sit and watch it (I'd like to be able to do some work too). Not good. Also, the sound alarm option, whilst being a nice concept, is poorly implemented. I expected a single alarm, but it keeps repeating the sound over and over which is pretty annoying unless you set it up to play your favorite song. :-) The "Stop Alarm" button seems to do nothing at all so the only way to stop the alarm is to turn it off, which makes it no longer useful at all. This app is more about advertising than providing anything really useful. Having said that, if the logging and alarm issues were fixed I'd give it 4 or 5 stars, because then it would be useful in my mind. I look forward to the next version then. Hint hint.
