Pros: none
Cons: YOU have to manually install all your photos, music, videos, set up your tv-card, etc. There is no automatic detection of anything. Even I can make software like that for goodness sake!
This was not compatible with my ATI All-In-Wonder card. Radio is only stations in France. Text was French. Sound was horrible. Interface is bad, i found myself on a screen i could not 'escape' from. I was stuck even after trying every button. I was forced to access Task Manager with CTRL-ALT-DEL and end the task.

"no auto detect of tuner card"
Pros: This didnt work at all. The interface looks cool, but would not work. Too old needs updates
Cons: This needs to detect tuners and not just have a list of ones that will work with it. The tuners in the software had some very old tuners listed. Needs one for adaptec usb duel tuner and other newer cards

Pros: very slick,mimics windows media centre and i must say,it did a superb job.
a must have if you want a media centre without the extra cost.
Cons: apart from the initial library set up,it lacks a search engine for artist,album or any other file you may need to find,so manual search through the library is required.but still worth 5 stars for value

"decent. nothing to do flips about."
Pros: a decent media center program for computers that don't have Windows Media Center. very easy to control with just a mouse or remote. sleek design, looks fairly attractive. for the price of free, its just ok. its worth a download but its far from perfect.
Cons: kind of sluggish at times. doesn't come with any DVD decoders so you have to find some for it to use. there is no control bar that pops up on mouse movement in full screen mode causing the user to have to exit full screen mode to do anything (pause, rewind, etc.) to the video, gets very annoying. it may just be mine but it has a problem where the time elapsed bar always starts at 18:00:00 instead of 00:00:00, making it impossible to rewind and fast forward for me since i primarily watch short, recorded TV shows on it and the time elapsed bar is short as it is. now, on second thought, after writing all the bad stuff, i'm just going to go ahead and say you probably shouldn't download this one cause im only using it cause i don't know of any other free alternatives to Windows Media Center.
