"A Total Piece of Crap & No Customer Support"

Pros
I can't think of anything good to say about it, except that if it worked as advertised it would be great, but it doesn't.
Cons
Full of bugs and very little works as advertised. And forget about getting any customer support or service. They just will not respond to any question you ask.

Full of bugs and very little works as advertised. And forget about getting any customer support or service. They just will not respond to any question you ask. For example, even with the main program not open you're supposed to be able to right click on any file or folder and be able to lock or unlock it from a window that drops down. That feature didn't work. When I called Sensiguard Customer Support about this problem they said they would mention it to "engineering" and that was the last I heard about it. Another problem I had is when I tried to add their USB Vault to a thumb drive. This is supposed to allow the thumb drive to be safely transported so you have no worries if it's lost or stolen. It not only didn't work, but it corrupted the files on the thumb drive that I tried to encrypt. Another issue with Sensiguard is if you try to lock (encrypt) or unlock (unencrypt) a large file or folder it takes forever. One folder I tried to lock was about 20 MB and it took several minutes to lock it and then several more minutes to unlock it in order to use any of the files inside it. The software is maddenly slow. My final complaint is that the program repeatedly crashes. You get a message that the program has stopped working and then it just closes by itself. This happens over and over again whenever you're trying to use it. But, the very worst thing about Sensiguard is the total lack of customer support. Since phone calls just get blown off, I e-mailed them numerous times about the problems I mentioned above. I emailed them directly and through the contact feature of their web site. Only once did I get a reply asking me what my problem was. Then, after I answered in great detail -- repeating everything I had already written them about several times -- I never got a response. I followed that up with several more requests to please answer me and address the problems with their software, but they never responded. I then emailed them again and said if they didn't refund my $39 within 10 days I would initiate a chargeback with my credit card issuer. They didn't respond to that, either. So I'm initiating the chargeback now. Don't waste your money on Sensiguard. The software is total crap and there is zero customer support. Once they have your $39 you are on your own.

"Could be better"

Pros
This software seems to be very immature and lacks the features of say Kruptos or Truecrypt. I've also found it to be a little buggy at times which makes me lose confidence since I'm encrypting my important files.
Cons
Buggy at times, poor interface. The competition is much better at this time.
