From Seabird Software:dbAnalyst provides a single interface to your enterprise databases. dbAnalyst allows you to lower your costs of ownership and raise your productivity, due to a single, standard database development and administration solution. dbAnalyst provides a single interface for reverse engineering and graphing existing databases, for exporting and transferring database content among databases from various vendors, and for cross-database vendor schema translation. dbAnalyst provides a single SQL console to databases, allowing for processing DML/DDL commands, for analyzing SQL statements, or for exploring database content. Furthermore, dbAnalyst diagnoses current or impending database issues by processing script-driven rules to generate database warning and alerts.
Current dbAnalyst scripts support databases such as Oracle8i, Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, iAnywhere 8.0, and Microsoft Access. Future script development includes support for IBM DB2 UDB, MySQL, Ingres II and Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise databases.
