The software allows users to save an image of the full screen, an active window, or any rectangular area as a graphics file. It offers editing features including cropping, highlighting, blurring, and resizing, but lacks annotation components such as text balloons or arrows. Pros
It's feature rich, reasonably easy to use, and free. I was looking for something like FastStone Capture (feature-rich and easy to use) but something free, and this is the closest I got.
Cons
Not as easy to use as FastStone Capture; some things take slight jumping through hoops. But nothing terrible, and you can't beat the price!

Seems like a nice program, but I couldn't really evaluate it without addressing the publisher's nag-screen policy.
Cons
This product is advertised as "FreeWare," however upon installation, it was necessary to go to the publisher's web site to download a product key. This is done so that the user can be subjected to requests for donations.
Once there, it becomes necessary to register and sign up to get the product key. Without the key, the program will subject you to nag screens asking you to "donate." With the product key, it is still necessary to repeat the process at 6 month intervals.
Note to Publisher: If you want to sell sharware, do so! Don't advertise the product as "free" if you are going to demand something in return. In this case, the user is asked to give up his privacy and furnish contact info.

I needed a program that would allow me to take screenshots of cursor and this program allowed me to do that and more. It has a plethora of options for editing and whatnot. It's very handy.
Cons
I've used other screenshot programs that use much less memory.
