Whether writing a software manual or documenting problems with a program, computer users sometimes need a way to save exactly what's on the screen. ScreenPrint Platinum is a powerful way to fix these fleeting images, saving almost anything from the computer screen into a graphics file. The program allows users to capture the full screen, an active window, any specified rectangular area, and even long documents that scroll offscreen. The tool can automatically take screenshots at specified intervals, but in our tests it failed to capture images from games played in full-screen mode. The program offers some editing tools, including the ability to flip, rotate, and fix the color of images, or to apply one of several visual effects. It does not allow annotation of the images. The interface can be awkward at times, but it does allow users to manage multiple images fairly easily. With this kind of broad feature set, we would happily recommend the program to support specialists and software manual designers, among others.Publisher's description

Version: ScreenPrint Platinum 4.9
Pros: There are many ways to define what you want a screen print of. You have a selection of file types to save it as. You can also define what editing program to use. I used this as freeware (there were functionality limitations) and eventually bought the Platinum version.
Cons: The catalog function has never worked, not in the freeware or purchased version.

"Only one that work with Windows Terminal Server"
Summary: We tested several of the more popular one's, and after a lot of frustration found that ScreenPrint is the only one that works with Terminal Server (with or without Citrix). Great features and ease of use also influenced our decision to license the P... read more >>
