CNET Editors' review
You're better off sticking with Firefox's built-in save capabilities, because this free Firefox extension couldn't save a single Web page in our tests.
Save Complete's user interface is accessed through Firefox's File menu or by right-clicking when you're on a page you want to save. The process is really simple, just name the file and save it where you like. What we got after that was an error message. The file was there, though, saved in our selected directory. Clicking it brought up a prompt, giving us two options for opening the file. Both choices revealed a blank page. We gave Save Complete a second, third, and fourth chance, but no luck in any tests.
This program is a dud and not worth your time to download.
Publisher's Description
From Stephen Augenstein:
Saves a Web page completely, providing a better alternative to the flawed built-in save functionality of Firefox. As more and more sites use CSS, Firefox's built-in complete save becomes increasingly less effective, as it doesn't support stylesheets. This extension fixes this, and saves the complete page, including all images and all stylesheets associated with the document, even imported stylesheets and images referenced in the stylesheet files. "IT'S A HIT!!! =]"
Version: Save Complete 0.9b7
Pros
My favorite way of saving Mozilla pages (from sites like i.e. FanFiction.Net). =)
Cons
None visible. ^^
Summary
I installed it a few months after installing Firefox and, since then, the only times when the plugin didn't work were when the latest version was not yet compatible with Firefox's latest version; otherwise, I'm in love with it. =D
It's slick, easy, light-fast and you have full pages taken down in seconds.
Definitely a must-have plugin. ^__^
