From BEIKS :SameTime for PalmOS is a utility adjusting the clock of your handheld with the desktop clock every time you perform HotSync.
The application updates the clock and calendar of the handheld being synchronized with the current desktop settings. If the time difference was larger than certain time (currently 60 seconds), SameTime requires that the device has to be soft-reset after the synchronization so that all set alarms get their chance to update. This is necessary to resolve possible alarm conflicts due to the PalmOS nature.
